Gary Johnson, a Democrat, is exploring a run for US Congress in Alabama's 1st congressional district in 2024 simply because "We Are One". Gary is an independent Democrat who wants to go to congress to be a voice for the voiceless, and work for the people and not a select few. Gary wants to fight for Social Change, Economic Justice, Education, Healthcare, and Jobs.

Gary is a small town country boy born and raised in a low-income home in north Mobile County, with a vision of being a leader for the people. Gary is a businessman, minister, pastor, and community activist who believes that every human deserves a right to equal access to government services and our communities, and local governments deserve a fair share of federal government funding to advance our communities. Gary wants to be a fighter for kids, families, and students that seek to improve their quality of life, whether that's through education, jobs, healthcare, and Social Justice.

Gary believes we all are one, created by one, and will have to answer to one. That's why Gary is exploring a run for congress in 2024. Times have changed, but we can not afford to go backwards. We must stand for something, so that we can build better communities, create more jobs, educate our kids in a loving and safe environment, have access to affordable healthcare, and live with one another without social injustice. Washington is turning the lights off, and leaving American families in the dark, but Gary will go to Washington and create a light for hopes and dreams.

Gary cannot do this without your help and support. Standing together as one, working together as one, and loving each other as one is what it's going to take to get the job done as one. "I will never be bought by the special interest, and I will never give in to partisan politics. I will be a fighter for you the people.​
